Job summary

Court Manor Health Services is seeking a compassionate Activities Aide to support the Life Enrichment/Activities Department. You will deliver person-centered programs that enhance residents’ physical, social, emotional, and cognitive well-being and engage individuals and groups in meaningful activities.

Three to four days a week, mostly afternoon shifts, with opportunities to grow within a progressive, resident-centered environment. Prior experience in long-term care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage residents.
• Strong interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Ability to lead group and 1:1 activities and motivate participation.
• Basic computer proficiency with Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead group and 1:1 activities based on residents' interests.
• Escort residents to activities, promoting safety and independence.
• Prepare materials and cues for programs and maintain activity areas.
• Help create monthly calendars, newsletters, and bulletin boards.
• Support special events, outings, and family engagement activities.
• Report changes in mood or function to the Life Enrichment Director.
