Job summary

Navy Region Southeast Fleet and Family Readiness (FFR) is seeking CYP Assistants to work with children and youth, keeping them engaged, safe, and well cared for within the CYP program. Responsibilities include planning activities, guiding social development, and ensuring healthy snacks and safety during the day.

Roles emphasize supervision, parent communication, assessment, and adherence to DoD standards, with opportunities for progression through CY levels and DoD required training.

Qualifications

• Resumes must include KSAs and related experience.
• Entry, intermediate and target levels require English proficiency and basic child-youth development knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop schedules and activity plans for children and youth.
• Implement activities and events meeting physical, social, emotional, and cognitive needs.
• Supervise participants and maintain safety and accountability.
