Zusammenfassung

Woonsocket-Health- is seeking an Activities Aide to assist in developing engaging therapeutic recreational programs for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will facilitate group events, provide one-on-one companionship, and support social interaction to improve daily life.

The role requires organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently or with a team, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting residents’ well-being.

Qualifikationen

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Aufgaben

• Assist in planning, organizing, and leading daily group recreational programs (arts, crafts, music, light exercise, games).
• Safely escort and transport residents using wheelchair or walker to activity spaces.
• Prepare spaces for activities and clean up after events.
• Conduct one-on-one engagement for bedbound or isolating residents with companionship or bedside activities.
• Monitor attendance and participation, and document as required.
• Coordinate holiday celebrations and facility-wide events.
