Watsontown Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an Activities Aide to enrich the lives of residents through engaging programs in a warm setting. You will help plan and run activities that support physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Ideal candidates show teamwork and strong communication, with a focus on compassionate, patient-centered care and a willingness to collaborate with Nursing and Therapy teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• No prior healthcare experience required; experience in activities or social services is a plus.
• Ability to work in a team-oriented environment prioritizing patient care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse patients.

Responsabilités

• Assist in planning and implementing activities such as arts, crafts, games, and events tailored to residents.
• Facilitate socialization and interaction among residents, including group and one-on-one activities.
• Monitor engagement and report changes to the Activities Director.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for activities and ensure supplies are available.
• Collaborate with Nursing and Therapy to support comprehensive patient care.
