Job summary

Cedar Healthcare Center in Portsmouth, NH is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant who is creative, energetic, and compassionate to engage residents through recreational programs. You will help plan and implement activities, escort residents to events, and support outings while upholding dignity and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and run engaging recreational, social, and wellness programs.
• Escort residents to activities and lead group or one-on-one sessions.
• Assist with offsite outings and coordinate transportation.
• Assist with resident meals during activities.
• Observe and report changes in mood or engagement.
• Support Resident and Family Council meetings as assigned.
• Maintain resident dignity, rights, confidentiality, and safety.
