Job summary

Eventide Jamestown Care Center seeks a Life Enrichment Activities Coordinator to work full time, 8a–4:30p, Monday to Friday with occasional evenings or weekends. The role supports activity programs to engage residents physically, mentally and socially, following state and federal standards.

Responsibilities include planning varied activities, building rapport with residents and families, maintaining records, and attending care conferences to discuss care plans. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; post secondary education preferred.
• Experience in long-term care preferred but not required.
• Ability to plan and coordinate activities for residents.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate resident activities programs for varying abilities.
• Develop rapport with residents and families to understand needs and interests.
• Maintain records on each resident including attendance, goals and notes.
• Attend care conferences and document Care Plan components.
• Provide leadership for assigned activities and events.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights.
