Agawam South Rehab & Nursing is seeking an Activities Assistant to join our team and help create meaningful experiences for residents. This role focuses on planning engaging activities, fostering participation, and supporting both group and one-on-one programs.

Qualifications

• Experience working with seniors or in healthcare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and facilitating resident activities and programs.
• Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests and abilities.
• Provide hands-on support during group and individual activities.
• Prepare activity areas and materials before programs.
• Clean up and organize after activities.
• Document resident participation and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with the Activities Director and other members of the care team.
