Job summary

Symple Lending, Inc. is seeking a hands-on engineering leader to own and scale our customer engagement systems across voice, SMS, and lifecycle channels. You will lead a small team while shaping design, integrations, and real-time decisioning to improve speed-to-lead, contact rates, and conversions.

You will partner with Sales and Marketing to optimize conversion outcomes, uptime, and observability, delivering high-impact systems that directly affect revenue in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in software/engineering leadership within fintech or high-volume systems.
• Experience building and scaling customer engagement platforms (voice, SMS, lifecycle).
• Proven ability to improve speed-to-contact, engagement, and conversion metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineering for voice, SMS, and lifecycle engagement systems.
• Design and optimize speed-to-lead, call routing, and contact strategies.
• Build and scale outbound dialing systems and messaging workflows.
• Integrate with platforms such as Twilio, Dialpad, SalesMessage.
• Partner with Sales and Marketing to improve conversion outcomes.
• Own system performance including uptime, reliability, observability.
• Mentor engineers and drive fast, data-driven decisions.
