Job summary

Zipline is seeking an Strategic Engagements & Events Intern in San Francisco to transform major business moments into meaningful experiences. You will research audiences, help develop engagement recommendations, and build project plans from inception to execution and follow-up.

You will collaborate across Commercial, Government Affairs, Communications, Market Entry, Operations, Partnerships, and other teams while gaining hands-on experience in stakeholder engagement, communications, project

Qualifications

Organized, detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication for clear materials.
Curious and analytical mindset for audiences, markets, and problems.
Willingness to travel and support in-person engagements as needed.

Responsibilities

Research markets, stakeholders, and opportunities to inform engagement choices.
Develop engagement strategies and briefing materials.
Plan and execute strategic engagements such as VIP visits, demos, partner events, launches, community activations.
Build and maintain project plans with owners, timelines, guest lists, and logistics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to move projects forward.
Assist onsite execution and ensure well-run guest experiences.
Document outcomes and lessons learned for future engagements.
This internship is a full-time, in-person role at South San Francisco from January to April 2027.
