Job summary

Zipline is seeking a Community Engagement Intern to help design and implement initiatives that engage local communities across multiple cities. You will support events, content creation, and inquiries while building partnerships and tracking impact.

The role is an in-person internship for Spring 2027, running January through April, in Dallas, TX; Austin, TX; Los Angeles, CA; or Phoenix, AZ. Must be able to travel regularly and relocate if needed.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field and have completed the second year of undergrad.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for community building and social impact.
• Experience with social media/digital tools (Slack, Facebook Groups).
• Detail oriented and organized.
• Creative thinker with initiative.
• Willing to travel to multiple cities as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, promote, and execute community events, workshops, and virtual meetups.
• Develop content for newsletters, social media, and other channels.
• Respond to community inquiries and engage across platforms.
• Research community needs, trends, and engagement strategies.
• Track engagement metrics and report on outcomes.
• Provide general administrative support to the team.
