Overview
Before applying for a TGS role, internal employees must discuss their interest with their current manager.
The Engagement Manager II (EMII) is a senior project management role owning the day-to-day execution of one or more engagements or workstreams for a strategic technology client, across a range of workstreams that may include AI/GenAI initiatives. Familiarity with how AI/ML-related engagements are scoped, resourced, and measured is a valuable plus but not a prerequisite.
The EMII is accountable for the overall success of their assigned engagement(s) and coordinates closely with the Delivery Resources working on them, as well as other functions across the organization. The EMII operates at the engagement/workstream level, partnering with and reporting into the Senior Engagement Manager, who holds the broader portfolio view and the senior client relationship.
The EMII contributes directly to the client relationship at the working level and plays an active role in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and other client storytelling — preparing content, presenting components, and helping translate engagement data into a clear narrative — while the Senior Engagement Manager holds ultimate accountability for the executive relationship. The EMII is measured by delivery quality, schedule/budget adherence, customer satisfaction, and billable utilization across their assigned engagement(s). The ability to communicate effectively both up and downstream is a must, along with a results-oriented and positive attitude.
The responsibilities below are not exhaustive and may require adjustment based on internal and client requirements.
