Job summary

Williams College seeks an Assistant Director of the 50th Reunion Program to lead engagement activities and support a robust development program with 50th alumni and friends.

Reporting to the Director of Milestone Reunions, the role partners with high-level alumni committees across five classes to plan events, coordinate communications, and manage budgets. The position emphasizes donor engagement, regional gatherings, and innovative virtual events.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with ability to multitask.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple assignments and meet goals.

Responsibilities

  • Engagement activities and event planning – plan and execute major 50th Reunion events and regional/virtual programs, managing logistics, vendors, staffing and budgets.
  • Volunteer management and collaboration – liaison with up to six classes of alumni volunteers for engagement and reunion planning.
  • Fundraising – assist with fundraising through committee work, reporting, and donor conversations.
  • Digital engagement and communications – develop class communication calendar and create digital materials.
  • Technology, systems, and operations – coordinate Slate usage, develop reports, and train staff on new tools.
  • Team operations and finances – manage budgets, contracts, vendors, registrations, and financial reporting.
