Job summary

Macalester College seeks an operationally sharp, systems-minded professional to serve as Assistant or Associate Director of Alumni Engagement, leading the college's annual Reunion program and supporting Alumni Board operations. This hybrid-eligible role requires project management, volunteer coordination, and strong stakeholder communication across Advancement, events, and campus partners.

Final title will be commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational planning and execution of the annual Reunion program, coordinating logistics, communications, volunteer activities, and event execution.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and workflows across campus partners.
• Track milestones, identify obstacles, and communicate next steps to stakeholders.
• Direct Reunion volunteer strategy, recruit and train volunteers, and manage staff and student coordinators.
• Provide operational support for Alumni Board activities and coordinate meetings, agendas, and deliverables.
• Contribute to additional programming with Advancement and campus partners, applying rigorous operational standards.
• Promote Macalester's culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion in all engagement activities.
