Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking an Engage Life Program Instructor in Levittown, NY to lead engaging activities for residents and enhance their active aging experience. This role involves planning, supervising, and delivering a variety of recreational programs with a focus on resident participation.

You will coordinate events, maintain schedules, welcome new residents, and support census-building initiatives, while ensuring safety and compliance with state regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience or training, or equivalent.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads Engage Life programs to enhance residents' lives and support aging goals.
• Plans and delivers diverse recreational activities with appropriate supervision.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate and updates activity schedules.
• Greets new residents and assists in planning parties and monthly celebrations.
• Maintains records of participation and supports census-building initiatives.
