Job summary

Atria Senior Living is seeking an Engage Life Program Instructor in Riverview, MI to lead a varied schedule of resident activities, greet new arrivals, and develop programs that keep residents engaged and connected to their community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience or equivalent.
• Able to write simple correspondence and present information to individuals or small groups.

Responsibilities

• Leads Engage Life programs.
• Offers diverse activities with supervision for each activity.
• Develops programs including for residents confined to rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents to participate.
• Keeps residents informed of upcoming activities and maintains a schedule.
• Greets new residents and helps integrate them into social circles.
• Assists in planning parties and seasonal decorations throughout the year.
• Supports census-building initiatives and Bright Beginnings.
• Maintains activity records as required by state law.
• Assists in recruiting volunteers for the activities program.
