Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; related experience or training is a plus.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to individuals or small groups.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Engage Life programs.
• Offers diversified recreational activities with supervision for each activity.
• Develops programs for residents, including for those confined to their rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents resulting in participation.
• Informs residents of upcoming activities and maintains a current schedule of events.
• Greets new residents and helps integrate them into activities with others of similar interests.
• Assists in planning parties and decorating the community for seasons and holidays.
• Supports census-building initiatives and maintains activity records as required by state law.
• Assists Engage Life Director in enlisting volunteers to aid the activities program.
• May drive a company vehicle to events if required by community.
• Performs other duties as needed and/or assigned.
