Job summary

Atria Senior Living in a residential community is seeking a dedicated professional to oversee the Engage Life program and resident activities. The role includes developing engaging life programs, coordinating instructors and volunteers, and driving resident participation across events and services.

The candidate will manage calendars, transportation, and community relations while ensuring seamless operations and adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university with 1–2 years of related experience/training.
• Clear communication under pressure with positive attitude and team orientation.
• Solid performance management including documenting conversations and coaching.
• Ability to use independent judgment to meet company goals.
• Operate standard office equipment and use technology (computers, iPad/tablet, Word, internet, email, social media).
• Driving responsibilities; must possess a valid driver’s license and comply with vehicle policies.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements programs for residents to enhance their lives and engagement.
• Manage Engage Life Program Instructors, volunteers, and drivers where applicable.
• Oversee ARD (Atria Resident Discovery) tools, events calendar, and move-ins for Engage Life across residents.
• Plan and publish monthly program calendars by the 1st of each month using resident interests.
• Manage all Engage Life program aspects and drive resident participation.
• Support community growth through sales activities and public relations efforts.
• Oversee budgets, department needs, and scheduling of volunteers and vendors.
• Serve as the community’s manager-on-duty and coordinate resident transportation decisions.
