Atria Senior Living in Barrington, RI seeks an Activities Coordinator to lead Engage Life programs, plan diverse activities, and foster resident engagement. You will support residents' active aging through social, cultural, and recreational events while maintaining schedules and records.

Collaborating with staff, you will welcome new residents, assist in events, and may drive a community vehicle. A high school diploma and 3–6 months related experience are required; the role offers solid benefits

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 3–6 months related experience or training.
• Ability to write simple correspondence and present information to individuals and small groups.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs to enhance residents' lives.
• Provide diversified recreational activities with appropriate supervision.
• Develop programs for residents, including those confined to their rooms.
• Engage and motivate residents to participate in activities.
• Inform residents of upcoming activities and maintain a current schedule.
• Greet new residents and integrate them into activities.
• Assist in planning parties and decorating the community according to season/holiday.
• Support census-building initiatives within the community.
• Maintain records of activities and participation as required by state law.
• Assist Engage Life Director with volunteers and community outreach.
• May drive the company vehicle as required by the community.
• Perform other duties as needed.
