Job summary

Atria Senior Living, Inc. is seeking an Activities caregiver to lead Engage Life programs and organize a variety of recreational activities for residents.

You will supervise activities, greet new residents, and help plan parties and seasonal events, fostering social engagement and well‑being within the community. You will also support Bright Beginnings, participate in census initiatives, and maintain activity records per state requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Leads assigned Engage Life programs.
• Offers adequate and diversified recreational activities to residents with supervision.
• Develops programs for residents including programs for residents confined to their rooms.
• Engages and motivates residents resulting in program participation.
• Informs residents of upcoming activities and maintains a current schedule of events on the bulletin board.
• Greets new residents and helps them engage with others with similar interests.
• Assists in planning parties and activities and decorates the community per season/holiday.
• Assists Bright Beginnings including housewarmings.
• Supports census-building initiatives.
• Maintains records of activities, participation, and acceptance of activities as required by state law.
• Assists Engage Life Director in enlisting volunteers for activities.
• May drive company vehicle between locations if required by community.
• May perform other duties as needed.
