Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Tucson is seeking an Engage Life Program Instructor to coordinate and lead resident activities, fostering engagement and a vibrant community life.

You will manage Engage Life programs, arrange diverse activities, and work with residents to ensure meaningful experiences while coordinating with staff to maintain schedules and records. A supportive, balanced work environment with growth opportunities is emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Able to write simple correspondence.
• Able to present information clearly in one-on-one and small group settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead Engage Life programs for residents and ensure meaningful activities.
• Provide diversified recreational activities with supervision for each event.
• Develop programs including options for residents confined to rooms.
• Engage and motivate residents to participate in activities.
• Inform residents about upcoming events and maintain a current activity schedule.
• Greet new residents and help integrate them into activities and the community.
• Assist in planning parties and seasonal decorations and monthly birthday events.
• Support census-building initiatives and help recruit volunteers for activities.
• Maintain records of participation and activity outcomes as required by state law.
