Guidehouse is seeking an experienced PMO professional in Maryland to support technology implementation projects for utility and energy clients. This role emphasizes planning, governance, and cross-functional collaboration across multiple workstreams.

The candidate will manage schedules, RAID logs, and status reporting, while coordinating stakeholder meetings and ensuring timely action closure. Travel to client sites is required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills essential.

Qualifications

• US Permanent Resident or US Citizen required for client engagements.
• Total years of experience include 4+ years in PMO/Project controls in Utilities/Energy.
• Experience supporting technology implementations in regulated industries.
• Strong PMO methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management knowledge.
• Experience in project planning, scheduling, status reporting, risk tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams).
• Ability to travel and work in Guidehouse or client offices as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide PMO support to utility and energy provider clients on technology implementation projects.
• Support planning, tracking, reporting, and governance across multiple workstreams.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, RAID logs, action items, status reports, and PMO deliverables.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas/materials, capture decisions, and follow up on actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, client stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to drive execution and issue resolution.
• Monitor progress, identify risks/dependencies, and assist with mitigation planning and escalation.
• Support process improvement to strengthen PMO practices and delivery.
• Communicate clearly with internal teams and external clients.
