Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking an experienced Solutions Architect for the Energy & Utilities sector in Houston, TX. You will own technical relationships, craft cloud architectures, and drive architectural reviews with customer engineering teams.

You will influence roadmaps, mentor others, and develop reference architectures leveraging AI and AWS services to accelerate the customer cloud journey.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in technology domains (software, cloud, infrastructure, security, data).
• 5+ years in infrastructure or data/AI-related roles preferred.
• Experience communicating with executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical relationship with customers, guiding security, cost, performance, and architectures.
• Advocate for the customer to influence AWS feature roadmaps and best practices.
• Contribute to hiring, coaching, and mentoring within the Solutions Architecture team.
• Develop cloud-native reference architectures and share best practices with the community.
