Qualifications

• 3–6 years of energy law experience.
• Familiarity with the Federal Power Act and power market mechanics.
• Ability to draft bespoke energy contracts.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate power purchase agreements and energy service agreements for developers, utilities and corporate buyers.
• Advise on complex energy market design within PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT and CAISO.
• Represent clients before FERC and advise on compliance with market-based rate programs and related policies.
• Counsel clients on emerging energy policy, renewable integration, and carbon-free procurement strategies.
