RFCUNY seeks an Energy Training Instructor for the CUNY SPS Office of Innovative Learning Solutions to design, deliver, and administer energy management training for DCAS. The role focuses on educating facility professionals to implement energy-saving measures and meet GHG reduction goals.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty or related field, and experience instructing adult learners in higher education.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in an engineering specialty (mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, etc.) energy management, or sustainability.
• Two years’ experience teaching adult learners in a higher education setting preferred.
• Ability to deliver course content in person and virtually.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver educational content and assess performance to ensure learning outcomes.
• Adapt instruction for in-person and virtual delivery to building managers and facility professionals.
• Create a safe learner-centric environment that promotes critical thinking.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support the program.
• Assess learners’ progress and report outcomes to key stakeholders.
• Participate in instructor meetings and professional development activities.
• Follow ADDIE instructional design principles to develop training materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
