Research Foundation of The City University of New York (RFCUNY) is seeking a part-time Building Science Systems Educator for the CUNY Building Performance Lab. The role focuses on delivering high-quality training, engaging in curriculum development, and guiding professionals in energy and carbon management with an in-house SME approach.

The position supports flexible scheduling, client discussions, and the preparation of concise post-session reports, contributing to the advancement of building

Qualifications

• Proficiency in building construction processes, especially retrofitting for energy and carbon emissions reduction.
• Solid understanding of HVAC system operations and building controls.
• Proven experience in delivering technical instruction within the building performance sector.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., engineering, architecture, construction) or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training and coaching sessions tailored to professionals in the building performance industry.
• Collaborate on curriculum development and instructional design, providing expertise as an in-house subject matter expert.
• Prepare concise summary reports and reviews for training sessions; engage in client discussions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by the Training Department.
