The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s in engineering or energy sustainability, has 2 years teaching adults in higher education, and is proficient with Office, Zoom, and Blackboard.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty (mechanical, electrical, civil, environmental, etc.) energy management, or sustainability.
  • Two years’ experience teaching adult learners in a higher education setting preferred.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver educational content and assess performance to ensure learning outcomes.
  • Adapt instructional style for in-person and virtual delivery to building professionals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and subject matter experts to support the program.
  • Assess learners’ progress and report course outcomes to stakeholders.
  • Participate in instructor meetings and professional development activities.
  • Follow ADDIE instructional design principles to develop materials and job aids.
