Job summary

Community Action Pioneer Valley seeks an Energy Technician 2 to conduct energy efficiency and health & safety audits for income-eligible clients in Franklin and Hampshire Counties. The role includes contractor coordination, project management, and quality control for weatherization projects.

The position requires travel across the CAPV service area, performing assessments, installing energy conservation measures, and maintaining certifications.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates strong communication and problem solving with clients and contractors.
• Experience with residential energy audits and building diagnostics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Energy Efficiency and Health & Safety Audit service delivery.
• Inform clients about conservation programs and maintain confidentiality.
• Conduct data collection and building documentation of existing conditions.
• Perform building diagnostics and analyze findings to create work scopes.
• Project oversight including paperwork, records, and quality control inspections.
• Travel throughout the service area to CAPV sites and locations.
