Job summary

Blackstone Valley Community Action Program (BVCAP) seeks an Energy Auditor to perform in-home residential energy assessments, identifying weatherization needs and coordinating work orders through Hancock Software. The role supports low-to-moderate income households and partners with contractors and program staff to ensure timely project completion.

Earn $29–$37 per hour with benefits including PTO, holidays, health/dental/vision insurance, and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Strong communication skills and work ethic required.
• Basic computer proficiency required.
• Must possess a clean driving record and pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-home energy audits and assessments for residential clients.
• Evaluate housing conditions and identify energy efficiency improvements.
• Input audit data and generate work orders using Hancock Software.
• Coordinate and communicate with contractors regarding assigned projects.
• Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and submitted timely.
• Travel to client residences within service areas as required.
• Maintain compliance with program guidelines and safety standards.
