Job summary

CLEAResult in the United States is seeking an Energy Technician II to install energy efficiency measures that reduce consumer energy bills across a defined territory. You’ll work hands-on on residential projects, applying attic insulation, caulking, lighting upgrades, and efficient water heating solutions while following program guidelines.

Ideal candidates will have a High School Diploma or equivalent; prior residential construction experience is preferred, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters.
• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors.
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks.
• Ensure measures installed are to program guidelines.
• Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe.
• Assist with customer site job set up and tear down.

Target Compensation

$21.40/hr

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company.Individuals provided a conditional offer of employmentfor this position must successfully pass apost-offer, pre-employmentdrug testand consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver’s license,andindividuals provided a conditional offer of employment mustsuccessfully pass adrugtest and maintain a clean driving recordas an ongoing requirement for continued employment.
