Job summary

CLEAResult is hiring an Energy Technician to join a team that installs energy-saving measures and educates homeowners to reduce energy bills. This entry-level position involves learning hands-on installation of insulation, weatherization, and related efficiency upgrades, with supervision and safety guidelines.

The role requires physical stamina, ability to work outdoors in varied weather, and a willingness to travel within the Scotrun, PA area.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Install energy savings measures including attic insulation (batts and blown), caulking, lightbulbs, showerheads, baseboards, thermostats and electric water heaters.
• Perform minor repairs to include windows and doors.
• Assist with loading and unloading work trucks.
• Assist with keeping the job site organized and safe.
• Assist with job site set up and tear down.

Field based around the Scotrun, PA area. You will report daily to the warehouse location.

To join our team as an Energy Technician. This is an entry level position where you will work alongside team members and learn how to install energy efficiency measures to reduce home energy bills for residential customers.

• Ability to work under different weather conditions including extreme hot and cold weather

• Sit, stand, or walk for extended periods of time

• Crawl, climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or reach often working in crawl spaces and under mobile homes for part of the workday

• Use repetitive hand motion & use of basic hand and power tools

• Use of a ladder at various heights (up to 3 stories)

• Lift, carry or push up to 50 pounds as needed

• High School diploma and/or GED

DOT Requirements

If applicable, meet all DOT qualification requirements and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local transportation regulations.
