Job summary

Clarios is seeking a Program Buyer to coordinate purchasing-driven engineering activities and guide a cross-functional team from RFQ to mass production. You will drive supplier readiness, cost tracking, and launch milestones while negotiating terms that meet customer requirements and risk management standards.

The role requires 5+ years in program purchasing or related SCM fields within automotive or energy storage manufacturing, with a strong focus on cross-functional collaboration and project

Qualifications

• University degree in SCM, Business, Economics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 5+ years in Program Purchasing, Sourcing, Commodity Management, or SCM in automotive, battery, electronics, or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience supporting RFQs, supplier sourcing, cost tracking, launch readiness, and NPI activities.
• Knowledge of purchasing practices, contract negotiation, and cross-functional project execution.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate purchasing-related engineering activities across locations for RFQ through SOP and launch stabilization.
• Lead cross-functional project teams, track supplier readiness, BOM cost, and launch milestones.
• Negotiate with suppliers on cost, timing, and contractual topics aligned with customer requirements.
• Organize supplier workshops on cost reduction, feasibility, and launch-readiness risks.
