Job summary

Clarios, a leading energy storage solutions company, seeks a Global Procurement Manager for Maxwell to shape sourcing across its worldwide operations. You will drive category strategies, nurture supplier partnerships, and build cost-optimized supply chains to enable growth and innovation.

You will partner with engineering, operations, and finance to translate requirements into robust sourcing plans, lead RFQ/RFPs, negotiate long-term agreements, and mitigate supply risks while traveling as

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Operations or related function.
• Experience developing sourcing strategies and managing suppliers across multiple categories.
• Experience with global supplier relationships and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain dynamics, and cost drivers.
• Strong analytical, commercial, negotiation, and supplier-relations skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global category and sourcing strategies aligned with Maxwell business objectives.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships across a broad procurement portfolio including direct materials and services.
• Lead RFQ/RFP processes, evaluations, negotiations, and award recommendations.
• Negotiate commercial terms and long-term agreements with key suppliers.
• Drive cost-reduction, total cost of ownership, and value-engineering initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Quality, Finance, and regional teams to translate requirements into sourcing strategies.
