Job summary

ENFRA LLC seeks a Technical Services Engineer to support Energy-as-a-Service projects. You will bring deep expertise in HVAC, building automation, and energy conservation, guiding retro-commissioning across multi-building portfolios in higher ed and healthcare settings.

You will collaborate with engineers of record, project managers, and TS staff to ensure accurate data collection, robust system analyses, and clear documentation, while mentoring junior team members and upholding ENFRA's

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve and analyze complex systems.
• Strong multitasking abilities and flexibility beyond immediate scope.
• Detail-oriented with strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.
• Coordinates site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and requirements.
• Develop energy conservation strategies to execute the project scope related to retro-commissioning.
• Assists design teams with integration of energy conservation strategies for energy management.
• Reviews RFIs/RFPs for equipment and services procurement to ensure outcomes.
• Assists project team with review of critical equipment and system submittals.
• Conducts commissioning reviews and peer reviews of design documents.
• Troubleshoots equipment/system installation and assists in optimization of upgrades.
• Completes technical reports and supports development of new tools.
• Upholds ENFRA brand with excellence in work execution.
