Job summary

ENFRA LLC is seeking a Technical Services Engineer to support Energy-as-a-Service projects. The role focuses on retro-commissioning, HVAC/building automation, and energy management across multi-building campuses in education and healthcare environments.

You will provide technical leadership across all phases of the commissioning process, mentor TS staff, and collaborate closely with project managers to deliver high-quality energy performance outcomes. Travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 5+ years of experience in engineering design, energy management, or retro commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Provides technical assistance to pre-engineering teams during data collection surveys.
• Coordinates site surveys to determine existing facility conditions and scope requirements.
• Develop energy conservation strategies to execute the RCx project scope of work.
• Assists design teams with the integration of energy conservation strategies.
• Reviews RFPs for equipment and services procurement to ensure project outcomes.
• Assists the project team with review of critical equipment and system submittals for conformance.
• Conducts commissioning reviews and occasional peer reviews of design documents.
• Troubleshoots equipment/system installation and setup problems and assists in optimization of upgrades.
• Completes technical reports and supports development of new tools for project execution.
• Upholds ENFRA brand by guaranteeing excellence in work execution.
