Accenture PLC in Houston is seeking a seasoned Strategy professional to drive energy-sector transformation. You will partner with executives to shape strategic initiatives, drive performance improvements, and implement AI-enabled solutions across upstream, downstream, LNG, and fuels retail.

The role requires at least five years in strategic consulting within energy, strong market insight, and the ability to lead cross-functional projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years experience in strategic consulting within the energy sector.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives across upstream, downstream, LNG, and fuels retail.
• Strong understanding of market trends, competition, and value chain dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Conduct strategic consulting engagements with hypothesis-led problem solving and clear prioritization.
• Define where-to-play/how-to-win strategies and assess margin pools and integration options.
• Perform competitor and market analysis to translate benchmarks into actionable insights.
• Design operating models including governance, decision rights, and processes.
• Build sequenced transformation roadmaps with value backlogs, stage gates and risk controls.
• Develop value realization frameworks with KPIs and measurable benefits.
• Apply AI, automation, and analytics to accelerate decision-making and efficiency.
• Lead cross-functional teams across strategy, digital, sustainability, and technology.
• Manage stakeholder communications and align executives on strategic directions.
