Xcel Energy is offering a paid internship in the Customer Energy and Transportation Solutions team in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO. Qualifications

• Current student pursuing a degree in Statistics, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics.
• Eligible to work full-time during the summer (up to 40 hours/week) and commute to the designated work location in-person per hybrid policy.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.

Responsibilities

• Support cost-benefit and financial analysis of DSM programs for NSP‑M.
• Assist in preparing analytical support and documentation for regulatory filings, including South Dakota DSM filings.
• Maintain and enhance cost‑effectiveness models, tools, and business processes.
• Analyze program performance and incentive data to identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and reporting solutions that improve visibility into program and portfolio performance.
• Identify and recommend process improvements that enhance analytical efficiency and reporting accuracy.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to technical consultants and business leadership.
