HealthTrust, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks an AVP Energy Strategic Sourcing to lead a team managing gas, electricity, and related energy contracts for members. You will drive pricing, supply stability, and risk management while engaging with executives and cross-functional teams to deliver value to health system members.

The role emphasizes strategic development, sustainability focus, and strong leadership to shape energy strategies and supplier relationships across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business, finance or engineering required.
• 15+ years of relevant work experience required.
• Experience directing a strategic sourcing team and negotiating contracts in energy.
• Understanding of energy commodity trading, gas or electric contracting, hedging and regulation.

Responsabilités

• Ensure best in class industry pricing, contract terms and conditions.
• Interpret complex issues and identify broad solutions.
• Responsible for department performance and outcomes.
• Provide thought leadership and strategic direction for the Energy team.
• Direct, staff, train and motivate energy sourcing team.
• Ensure collaboration across account management, finance and sales.
• Lead interaction with client board members.
• Engage senior executives in strategic contracting discussions.
• Support sales and account management to maintain healthy pipeline.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with suppliers and clients.
• Develop and achieve financial and performance goals.
• Innovate and develop new client solutions.
• Identify opportunities for resiliency/sustainability in contracts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
