Job summary

HealthTrust, part of the HCA Healthcare family, seeks an AVP of Strategic Sourcing to lead day‑to‑day management of Medical Device Management (MDM) contracting and clinical offerings for HealthTrust members and non‑members. The role supports the VP in shaping the MDM strategy, advisory services, and expansion of medical device competencies.

The AVP will drive end‑to‑end medical device services, pricing, benchmarking, and cost‑savings initiatives, while liaising with national teams and account

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree preferred.
• 10+ years of leading healthcare contracts and negotiations.
• Ability to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the MDM advisory services portfolio for members and non-members.
• Coordinate clinical consulting (SurgIntel) and custom contracting efforts.
• Grow the MDM business and scale service capacity.
• Identify opportunities for PPI expansion and customized engagements.
• Maintain strong client relationships and support HealthTrust teams.
• Set strategic direction for the MDM clinical services agenda.
• Create standardized workflows for engagements and reporting.
