Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Training and Onboarding Coordinator for its Battery Energy Storage team. The role supports onboarding, training administration, and LMS course management to ensure timely, high-quality learning experiences.

Key duties include coordinating ILT sessions on-site, reporting completion progress, and partnering with managers to tailor onboarding experiences. Minimal travel and a strong Excel/PowerPoint skillset are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of office experience.
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience analyzing and troubleshooting data.
• Experience coordinating meetings or training events.
• Familiarity with database software (i.e. Access), graphics software, and/or e‑learning authoring tools.
• Minimal travel.

Responsibilities

• Act as a contact for the Battery Energy Storage Group and escalate questions to Learning & Development.
• Run and review reports on learning completion status.
• Manage instructor-led classes: schedule, register, prerequisites, room setup, catering, materials.
• On-site coordinator for ILT classes: set up technology, record attendance, distribute materials, enter completions in LMS.
• Help with additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.
