(HQCA) is seeking a Strategic Planning Manager to drive the ESS product strategy and coordinate across engineering, operations, and sales to align roadmap with market needs. The role emphasizes translating market requirements into product specs and guiding prioritization with technical teams.

You will monitor policy incentives, grid regulations, and energy market trends, delivering strategic insights and robust business cases to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Energy Systems, Business or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in energy storage, renewable energy, power system or related industries.
• Experience in product management, strategy or business planning.
• Strong familiarity with battery energy storage systems (BESS), grid integration or energy markets.
• Strong strategic thinking and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business strategy.
• Excellent cross-functional leadership and stakeholder management.
• Experience with financial modeling, product economics, and market analysis.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with engineering teams to guide product development and feature prioritization.
• Monitor policy incentives, grid regulations, and energy market trends affecting ESS deployment.
• Coordinate with product development to ensure ESS product roadmap is aligned with corporate strategy and market needs.
• Translate market and customer requirements into product specifications and development priorities.
• Coordinate across sales, engineering, operations, and procurement to ensure successful product launches and deployments.
• Support ESS solution sales planning with product positioning, pricing strategy, and technical guidance.
• Ensure product strategies are aligned with manufacturing capabilities and supply chain constraints.
• Track key business metrics including pipeline, product performance, cost targets, and market share.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives aimed at improving product competitiveness and operational efficiency.
• Engage with partners, EPCs, integrators, and technology providers to support ESS product deployment.
