Job summary

LONGi Energy Storage is seeking a dynamic Technical Solutions Engineer to design and deliver customized technical solutions for Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS). The role coordinates with customers and internal teams from inquiry through implementation, ensuring compliance with industry standards.

You will analyze requirements, craft feasible solutions for BESS, PCS, and EMS components, and prepare bid documents while working with sales, project management, and R&D teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Systems, or related field.
• Proficiency in creating technical documentation, schematics, and bidding documents.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of battery storage systems, power conversion, grid integration, and energy management systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with system simulation and design tools.
• Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, is required to communicate with international teams.

Responsibilities

• Analyze customer inquiries and requirements to design technical solutions for energy storage systems, including BESS, PCS, and EMS components.
• Evaluate technical feasibility and optimize solutions for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Prepare detailed technical documentation, including specifications, schematics, and configurations.
• Develop and submit comprehensive bidding documents and proposals that meet regulatory, technical, and customer-specific standards.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and R&D, to align solutions with project goals.
• Serve as a technical point of contact for customers during the pre-sales, proposal, and implementation phases.
• Contribute to the development of new tools and methodologies for solution optimization.
