Zusammenfassung

Peak Energy is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team and work on the forefront of gigawatt-scale energy storage prototypes at our Bay Area facility. You will perform hands-on assembly, integration, and testing of ESS prototypes, collaborating with engineers and project managers to meet specifications.

You will handle wiring, cabling, and component installation, set up testing instrumentation, and contribute to validation efforts while following safety

Qualifikationen

• Associate degree or technical certification in electrical or mechanical engineering; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 3+ years of hands-on prototype assembly and testing in an engineering environment.
• Strong ability to read schematics, drawings and assembly instructions.

Aufgaben

• Assemble, integrate and test energy storage system prototypes according to project requirements.
• Wire, cabling and solder components to complete prototypes.
• Set up testing equipment and data acquisition systems for prototype validation.
• Troubleshoot issues and document procedures and results.
• Maintain safe, compliant work environment and accurate records.
