Nexamp is seeking an Energy Storage Project Developer to originate and develop energy storage projects in Illinois. This role requires interaction with various stakeholders including utilities and landowners to secure project approval.

Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of experience in renewable energy project development. The position is hybrid based in Chicago and includes a competitive compensation package, along with benefits such as health insurance and PTO.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in renewable energy project development, especially with battery storage.
• Experience developing projects from inception to investment decision in Illinois.
• Ability to manage multiple energy storage projects effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop energy storage projects and manage related activities.
• Interface with utilities, landowners, and stakeholders.
• Evaluate site-related due diligence in support of project origination.
