Job summary

A decentralized electric utility company in New York is seeking a critical role to implement their Virtual Power Plant initiatives. You will drive revenue growth and optimize asset performance while developing strategies for energy trading. The ideal candidate has a background in energy market analytics and leadership capabilities, thriving in a fast-paced startup environment. This position is remote, with occasional travel to New York City for meetings.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in energy market analytics, trading, commercial operations, or asset optimization.
• Deep knowledge of energy storage optimization, power marketing, revenue forecasting, and market participation strategies.
• Experience with CAISO, NYISO, PJM, and ERCOT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of VPP and demand response program participation across the country.
• Develop strategies to drive revenue growth and optimize asset performance.
• Build operational capabilities to manage obligations and meet market participation requirements.
