Job summary

Namely is looking for a candidate to support our Virtual Power Plant initiatives at Daylight. You’ll be responsible for executing demand response programs and optimizing asset performance while leading cross-functional teams. Ideal candidates possess a strong background in energy market analytics and trading with a Bachelor’s in a related field. This remote role requires occasional travel to New York City for meetings and team-building events. A competitive salary and equity package is offered, alongside comprehensive health insurance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in energy market analytics, trading, or asset optimization.
• Understanding of state-level programs like CA DSGS, MA Connected Solutions.
• Experience with CAISO, NYISO, PJM, and ERCOT is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the execution of VPP and demand response program participation.
• Oversee market activities, including pricing strategies and risk management.
• Identify and integrate data sources for energy market forecasting.
