Job summary

CMTA, a Legence company, is looking for an entry‑level Mechanical Engineer to help in our Energy Solutions offices in the following regions: Baltimore MD, Fairfax VA, Richmond VA, Boston MA, California.

The Energy Solutions division is the fastest growing segment, and the successful candidate will lead all phases of our work, with a strong background in HVAC design and commissioning to transition into energy engineering.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• 0–3 years of experience with an Energy Services company or equivalent.
• Strong HVAC design, commissioning, and energy analysis background.

Responsibilities

• Develop and present project opportunities to potential clients.
• Support client meetings, proposals, and industry events.
• Perform site visits, audits, and energy calculations.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications.
• Assist in bidding and contract administration.
• Coordinate with construction managers to ensure smooth execution.
• Commission installed systems to validate performance.
