Job summary

IGS Energy, a family‑owned energy retailer, is hiring a Direct Sales Associate to represent Just Energy at a major national retail partner location. You will advise customers on natural gas, electricity, and alternative energy while delivering a superior retail experience with a consultative sales approach.

The role offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commissions, performance incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in sales, customer retention, or account management.
• Ability to work second shift hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends as needed.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from job and training site(s).

Responsibilities

• Represent Just Energy or IGS Energy to acquire and retain customers by providing an exceptional customer experience at retail stores.
• Utilize a consultative selling approach to discover each customer’s unique needs and recommend energy products.
• Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results by consistently achieving all sales objectives and following departmental goals, policies, and procedures.
• Build confidence and handle objections with listening and negotiation skills.
• Develop collaborative relationships with other sales representatives, store managers and retail employees.
• Proactively learn and effectively demonstrate current product programs to assist customers in making informed decisions.
