As a Direct Sales Associate, you will represent Just Energy on behalf of IGS Energy, while working onsite within a major national retail partner location. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to customers exploring natural gas, electricity, and alternative energy options. You will be responsible for acquiring new customers, providing a superior retail experience, and applying a consultative sales approach to help individuals make informed decisions. Proven understanding of the business, lives the company values, and committed to continuous learning and development. Exceptional interpersonal skills and professionalism; ability to make a connection with a diverse array of customers and colleagues. Must be able to demonstrate patience and consistently strive for a positive attitude, while identifying and overcoming customer objections. Strong negotiation and closing skills with a focus on education. Ability to interpret, analyze, and evaluate information relative to selling techniques. Time management and multitasking skills. Ability to work independently and a flexible schedule to ensure performance expectations are met.
Minimum Education, Experience and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience in retail or related field preferred. Previous experience in sales, customer retention, or account management. Flexibility to work second shift hours, including evenings, holidays and weekends as needed. Must have reliable transportation to and from job and training site(s).
Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee must be able to stand for extended periods of time at a booth in a retail location. The employee is regularly required to sit, stand, and walk; use hands and fingers to operate the iPad; and be able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs (iPad, training binders, marketing materials, etc.).
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work in the US on a full‑time basis. Unfortunately, a current or future need for sponsorship is not supported or available for this position.
Salary Range: $55,000.00 - $100,000.00 * This range reflects total earnings opportunity, inclusive of commissions and bonuses.
This role is also eligible for an uncapped sales commission.
