Job summary

DTN is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for Energy & Refined Fuels to guide customers through complex enterprise software sales engagements. You will partner with executives and stakeholders to understand business challenges, shape strategies, and align cross-functional teams to demonstrate how DTN’s technology can transform their operations.

You will work with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services, Customer Success, and Marketing to deliver measurable value, addressing fuel

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Sales Engineering or equivalent in enterprise software.
• Experience supporting complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise sales cycles.
• Experience collaborating across Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, and Sales.
• Experience in Energy sectors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead executive and operational discovery sessions with enterprise customers.
• Understand customer business processes, workflows, challenges, risks, and objectives.
• Translate customer challenges into consultative solution recommendations.
• Design solution strategies aligning objectives with DTN capabilities.
• Develop phased implementation approaches when appropriate.
• Coordinate with Account Executives and cross-functional teams throughout complex sales pursuits.
