Job summary

Tetra Tech, Inc. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineering Project Manager and Team Lead with a strong background in energy projects to lead complex initiatives nationwide. The role emphasizes client development, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across energy technologies.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of combined technical and PM experience, PE licensure, and a proven track record of delivering and expanding energy programs. Remote/hybrid/office-based flexibility is offered.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
10+ years of combined technical and project management experience in energy projects.
PE licensure and willingness to obtain licensure in other states.
Proven track record in business development and client management.
Strong PM methodologies and tools knowledge.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage energy projects from planning to closeout.
Lead and grow a team of civil engineers.
Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams across internal units.
Develop and manage project schedules, budgets, scopes, and quality standards.
Lead proposal development and manage awarded projects to meet financial and performance goals.
Serve as primary client liaison and maintain client satisfaction.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Oversee contract negotiations, risk management, and compliance.
Maintain knowledge of industry trends and regulatory requirements.
Travel as needed.
